Iranian short ‘08:00 PM’ to vie at ESMoA filmfest

Iranian short ‘08:00 PM’ is to compete at the ESMoA filmfest in the US.

Iranian short flick ‘08:00 PM’ has been selected to compete at the fifth edition of the ESMoA Video Art and Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Mostafa Gholami and co-produced by Gholami and Asghar Abbasi, the short film will be screened at the upcoming edition of the ESMoA festival.

A synopsis to the short reads, “I don’t know why Niloufar is late, she has always been a punctual girl…!”

The cast list of the short film includes Rahmatollah Shekarkhand, Pouya Safdarpour, Amin Heidari, and Diba Fallah.

The short film had its first international presence at the 18th Up-and-Coming International Film Festival Hannover in Germany.

The ESMoA film festival hosts 60-seconds and up-to-45 minute films for its forthcoming edition.

According to the official website of the ESMoA, “the mission is to spread the spark of creativity through the display and education of visual arts.”

The 2022 edition of the event will screen the participating works in March. It will be held online and last for 3 days.
